Innovative Engineering in Action

Designing a Temporary Bridge for Safe Passage
These images capture Transeast’s oil and gas convoys crossing the Kainuk River near Lake Turkana. When the existing bridge was condemned due to flood damage, our team engineered and installed a temporary river-crossing solution—ensuring critical cargo movement continued without interruption. The bridge remains in use today, serving the oil and gas sector in northern Kenya.

Specialized Movement of a 2500 HP Exploration Rig

Transportation of a 2500 hp Exploration Drilling Rig

Transeast successfully transported a 2500 hp exploration drilling rig across the rugged terrains of the Lake Turkana region.

Our experienced heavy-lift team planned and executed the entire operation with precision, ensuring all components reached their destination safely and on schedule.

SCR Unit Relocation with Modular Trailers

Commitment to Excellence
Using advanced hydraulic modular trailers, we moved the Switch Control Room (SCR) unit for the 2500 hp exploration rig within the same region—demonstrating our capability in handling delicate, oversized, and high-value industrial units.

Cross-Border Heavy Equipment Transport

Out of Guage Mining Machinery

Transeast moved a Sandvik LH621 underground loader from the Port of Mombasa to a mine site in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The operation involved long-distance, multi-country coordination and showcased our expertise in moving out-of-gauge mining machinery through challenging routes.

Marine-Assisted Transport of Wartsila Engines

Combined Road and Water Logistics
Our team transported four Wartsila power engines from Mombasa Port and, using a lake vessel, delivered them across Lake Victoria to a mine in Tanzania’s Geita region.

This combined road-and-water logistics operation highlights Transeast’s ability to engineer multimodal transport solutions.

Generator Transport for Exploration Operations

Movement of Multiple Generators

We also facilitated the movement of multiple generators supporting the 2500 hp exploration rig within the Lake Turkana basin, ensuring continuous and reliable power supply for remote drilling operations.
