With its highly trained and experienced heavy lift team, Transeast has moved more transformers than any other haulier in the region. The range of projects it has transported for extends to solar, wind, geo thermal , hydro dam construction and transmission lines.

TRANSFORMERS
These pictures were taken of oil and gas trucks crossing the Kainuk bridge near Lake Turkana. Transeast designed the river crossing bridge as the nearby older bridge had been condemned by the authorities due to flood damage. Another example of innovative solutions to transport problems. This bridge is still operating today in support of the oil and gas sector in Kenya

WATSILA PROJECT
Transeast moved 157T(metric) x 4 units wartsila engines for an established gold mine in Geita region Tanzania. Transport modes were 2 fold – road and water (Lake Victoria) in order to safely deliver to the mine site

CABLE DRUM
Cable drum was transported from Mombasa port to Nyanza region. Height was 5.2m and weight was 150T(metric) with a high center of gravity the Goldhofer THP drop deck was selected for the delivery

LPG CYLINDERS
LPG tank for AGOL Miritini Mombasa. It was 22m long and 5m wide. Again Transeast used a combination of modular trailers and a spacer deck to support the load. Due to the all wheel steering of the trailer, Transeast was able to negotiate the tight bends to enable delivery to the remote side.

WIND FARM BLADES
These were for the Vestas Wind Farm on the Ngong Hills outside Nairobi

TRANSFORMERS
