Transeast Group has been in operation since 1990 and has a fleet size of over 300 prime movers with over 400 trailers comprising of combinations of semi, multi-axle, low loaders , step decks, bunkers and tankers.
Our operational bases in are Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Democratic Republic of the Congo and our core business is the movement of project cargo in our theatre of operations which extends to the whole of East, Central and South East Africa. We move project cargo for the extractive industries (mining, oil and gas), infrastructure (railways and airports), power and energy (transmission and power stations ), humanitarian aid and agro-produce, heavy lift, jacking and skidding /and out of gauge cargo through difficult terrain into remote destinations. We are heavily invested in HSE, ISO, appropriate certification, systems and processes, training, maintenance and deployment of our assets and resources.
We are customer focused for on-time delivery and provide transparency through our client portals for customer specific GPS monitoring and daily progress reports. Our control towers monitor and report on driver performance to ensure safe driving for all concerned. We maintain and operate our own workshops to the highest standard to maintain and safeguard our assets. We work with associated companies in providing handling equipment and cranes as well as full regional logistics solutions.
